Tennis is the perfect sport for the summer season, and here are some of the best places in Toronto where you can play.

Sir Winston Churchill Park

This community tennis center offers 10 hard courts for public use and a view of downtown. Players of all skill levels are welcome to take advantage of the facilities, including ten hard-court courts.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends

Marilyn Bell Park Tennis Court

Marilyn Bell Park is located along the shore of Toronto’s lake, offering stunning views of the skyline and four asphalt courts available for daily use, seven days a week.

Trinity Bellwoods Park

Located in one of the city’s most popular parks, eight asphalt courts are open seasonally from April 1 through October 31. You can even kill two birds with one stone and take your dog for a well-deserved walk and playtime!

High Park Tennis Courts

Head to High Park to play one of six hard courts between April and October. If you come at the right time in May, you might even catch the famous cherry blossoms.

Ramsden Park is home to an extensive 12-court facility which is sure to be available. Many courts in the city usually have a waiting time to play, but luckily this is not one of them.

East Riverdale Park

If you are looking for a park where you can not only play tennis but also watch one of the most beautiful sunsets over the city, Riverdale Park East is the one. The 7 outdoor asphalt courts stay lit until 11 p.m., so you can play late into the night and enjoy stunning views.
