Arizona State cornerback Chase Lucas (back), safety Evan Fields (hamstring) and wide receiver Johnny Wilson (hamstring) are undressed and will not play in Saturday’s game against the ‘Utah, according to multiple reports.
None of the three participated in training this week for ASU, according to SunDevilSource.com.
Lucas was a starter for the Sun Devils for several years and missed another game this season against Colorado with an injury.
He has totaled 13 tackles at this point.
Fields is a fifth grader and has been a constant for Sun Devil High School for the past several years. He also missed one game this season against UCLA and totaled 23 tackles.
Kejuan Markham will play in place of Fields, according to SunDevilSource.com.
Wilson is in his first full year after an unpredictable 2020 season due to COVID-19. Although he missed games against UCLA and Stanford, he slowly became a favorite target for quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Wilson totaled 12 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown.
A bit of good news for Sun Devil fans, DE Michael Matus – who didn’t compete last week against Stanford – is dressed up tonight, by Doug Haller of Athletic.
