Bears eliminate all competition with Justin Fields

the Chicago Bears approach 2022 with Justin Fields as the undisputed number one on the team.

Fields has an all-new coaching staff and general manager as he enters his second year with the team.

Matt Eberflus replaces Matt Nagy as head coach in hopes of raising the bar for the Bears.

That’s not all that’s new for Fields and the Bears in 2022.

Last year starter is now gone

Andy Dalton came to Chicago and got the starting job after the 2021 preseason.

However, an injury would force Fields into the starting role for a short time.

A year after signing him, the Bears still haven’t signed him.

If anyone were to stand a chance against Fields for the starting job, it would be Dalton.

With him gone, the starting job now rests on Fields’ shoulders.

Chicago signs lackluster replacement Trevor Siemian

If you want a backup quarterback with no starting quarterback potential, Siemian is your man.

He’s 0-5 in his last five starts, including four while with the Saints last season.

Fields will have nothing to fear with Siemian on the roster.

However, the Bears could be in trouble if they have to rely on Siemian in the event Fields can’t play.

The movement also has people speculating that Nick Foles is about to leave Chicago next.

He’s the last player Fields would have to worry about for the starting quarterback position.

But there is hope for Fields when you look at his completely revamped squad.

Old and new faces are in Chicago to help the champs on offense

Fields will have a new offense in 2022, but there will be some familiar faces on the team for him.

David Montgomery, Darnell Mooney, Cole Kmetand Cody Whitehair are just a few of the players returning to Chicago.

Two new receivers join the team Byron Pringle and Equanime Saint-Brown.

The team also signed a free agent center LucasPatricka former Green Bay Packer.

Chicago hopes to see Fields grow with the new offensive players the team now has.

Will 2022 be a good year for the fields?

All Bears fans want to know if the team and Fields will be good this season.

The additions of Pringle and Patrick help a lot for Fields.

Chicago needs as much help as possible on the offensive line.

The team gave up 58 sacks last season, the worst of any NFL team for the year.

So getting some protection from Fields is a good first step to helping him have a better season this year.

Adding Pringle helps with receiver talent.

He had 42 receptions for 568 yards and five touchdowns in 2021.

These statistics are much better than Allen Robinson‘s, the receiver Chicago let go on free agency.

Fields has plenty of room for improvement, but can make it happen with some of the surrounding people on the team.

As long as the Bears can keep Fields from being fired, he should easily improve in 2022.
