Donation Supports Quesnel Pickleball and Tennis Court Lighting Project
$5,000 was provided by Peace Hills Insurance
The Quesnel Pickleball Club and the City of Quesnel recently received funding to help light the courts at West Fraser Timber Park.
Peace Hills Insurance provided $5,000 last week for the $90,000 project that includes installing lights on all six pickleball courts and two tennis courts.
City Manager of Community Services Jeff Norburn says the city is contributing about $72,000 to the project.
The Quesnel Pickleball Club is providing $13,000.
