Justin Fields threw an embarrassing ball during a recent training camp session.
The Chicago Bears QB spotted a player wide open in the end zone, and instead of dropping the ball into the basket, he threw it clean over the player’s head.
In terms of bad throws, it’s definitely among the worse we’ve seen of one QB so far during the camp portion of the season!
It is almost impossible to be more open than that. This is the dream scenario for any attacking player on a football pitch.
When you’re this open, you might have plenty of time to cook dinner before a defender shows up.

However, instead of making a very easy pass, Fields sent the ball into space. While it’s just a bad run at training camp, it’s definitely not something you want to see!
The last thing a fan wants to see is the team’s sophomore quarterback missing passes that your average high school QB could easily complete.

Again, this is just training camp, but Fields might want to figure that out sooner rather than later. There’s no excuse for sending a ball like this to a wide open receiver.
