Pakistan and China pledged to further consolidate their cooperation in emerging technologies and military industry.

The understanding came during a meeting between Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in Islamabad on Friday.

The Air Chief also stressed that the two countries are benefiting from an unprecedented strategic partnership and reiterated his determination to further strengthen the existing bilateral ties in the areas of military cooperation and training between the PAF and the Chinese Air Force.

Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu further said that Pakistan appreciates its strong diplomatic, economic and defense relations and proven friendship with China based on convergence on all important issues relating to peace, security and stability. regional.

The visiting dignitary commended the professionalism of the PAF staff and the outstanding progress made by the PAF over the years, including through indigenization. He appreciates Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace.

The Ambassador also offered his sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan for the loss of life and devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan.
