Recreation City Parks and Tennis Courts to be Closed for Renovation | Sports

The Santa Barbara Department of Parks and Recreation recently completed an existing tennis court lighting upgrade at the Pershing Park Tennis Courts, 100 Castillo St.

In addition to the new LED lighting, SBCC is also coordinating a resurfacing project for the eight tennis courts at Pershing Park. The tennis courts will be closed from May 31 to June 10 during the project works.

In addition to the Pershing Park tennis court upgrade, Parks and Recreation also plans to repair existing field fencing, access gates and windshields at the municipal tennis and pickleball courts, 1414 Park Place . Repairs will extend the life of the facility while ensuring the safety of all visitors.

The project is scheduled to run from May 31 to June 3, and the entire facility will be closed for the four-day period to ensure player safety and avoid project delays.
