Tennis courts

The demolition begins on the tennis courts | Sports

Demolition of the southern half of the City Park tennis courts began on Monday afternoon.

Inline Construction, Marysville, removed the surface from the courts, fences and posts and CES Engineering, Marysville, was to do soundings and try to help determine where the water source is coming from under the ground. Water rose to the surface after the courts were removed, mostly in the middle of the three back courts, said Chad and Joy Kramer, donors for the estimated $450,000 to $500,000 project that could be completed in August if everything is going well.
