USTA transforms Harvard Tennis Park tennis courts as part of “Art Courts” initiative

To celebrate the 50th US Open Tennis Championships to be played later this summer, members of the Pete Brown Junior Tennis Program, a local National Junior Tennis and Learning Chapter (NJTL) and representatives from the United States The Tennis Association and longtime US Open partner Chase participated in the grand opening of Art Courts at Harvard Tennis Park on May 31.
Open to the general public, the Art Courts at Harvard Tennis Park were designed by LA artist Charlie Edmiston. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Charlie Edmiston began his career as a graffiti artist working in a variety of styles and mediums, including colorful hard-edged paintings, large-scale murals, and bold graphics.
